Cheezillia, often misspelled Cheezilla, often pronounced /t͡ʃiˈzɪ.lə/ by Hoang, is a state ruled by Hoang.

Cheezillia's territory is composed exclusively of Arvi's abandoned bunker under the former Scammington Bar.
History
Founding in the Buildup to a War with Neville
The state of Cheezillia was first proclaimed by Hoang on 2023-08-17 while discussing with Arvi in the #diplomacy channel the Toby-Neville war that never was. Hoang had originally, apparently jokingly, said that his state would be named "Toby", but later renamed it to Cheezillia to prevent the name of a potential war with Neville from being too humorous.
Observers such as Remy reacted to the founding of this state during Hoang and Arvi's argument with apparent disappointment.

The war between Cheezillia and Neville had to be postponed indefinitely due to Arvi having to leave for family matters for a week; the war never ended up happening as of writing (2026-05-10).
War with Liamland
On 2023-10-14, Liam from Liamland declared war on Cheezillia for no apparent reason, seemingly unprovoked.
Nothing has come of this declaration as of writing (2026-05-10).
Accession to the United Nations
In the United Nations' Vote Regarding Admission Request Of Helospalustriis on 2025-03-26 put forth by Remy, Cheezillia (spelled "Cheezilia" by Remy) was invited to participate in the vote despite the country not previously having acceded to the United Nations. Nobody opposed this, so it stood.
Hoang had previously, on 2023-08-11, signed Billzo's Resolution 4: On Adding a CheezSurv Style /spec Command in the United Nations (though this was before Cheezillia was founded), during which Billzo seemingly forgot that the delegates were supposed to be representing nations. Hoang also participated in the drafting of the resolution by voting on points before the final resolution was presented. Nobody opposed this, so it stood.
Flag and Spelling
During the United Nations session on 2026-04-30, Hoang was invited to participate, though he did not yet have an assigned seat at the table. As such, Hoang assigned himself a seat at the head of the table, commandeering one of the banners already at one of the seats for his own use. When asked about it, Hoang clarified that Cheezillia would be adopting the two pink hearts on a black banner — the banner of the Kingdom of Korolarachi — as the flag of Cheezillia.
It was also during this United Nations meeting when Hoang consistently pronounced the name of his country as /t͡ʃiˈzɪ.lə/, leading to Billzo happening to spell the name of the country as "Cheezilla" in the news articles detailing the events of this session, differing from Hoang's original spelling, but which nobody seemed to notice or oppose. It is worth noting however that the first occurrence of the spelling "Cheezilla" was attested on 2023-08-17, immediately after Hoang's founding of the country, in a message written by Remy.
On 2026-05-12, Hoang noticed the frequent misspelling of Cheezillia's name being mentioned on HATApedia and clarified to Remy and the God of News that the official spelling should be "Cheezillia". HATApedia switched to using the official spelling on 2026-06-07.
